About WALK4ASL 2026
Bringing Idaho Together Through ASL, Accessibility, and Deaf Community Connection
WALK4ASL 2026 is a statewide community event hosted by the Idaho Association of the Deaf (IAD), a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals and families throughout Idaho.
This inspiring event since 2014 brings together Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals, families, educators, interpreters, businesses, advocates, organizations, and community supporters to celebrate Deaf culture, raise awareness of American Sign Language (ASL), and create opportunities for greater accessibility and inclusion.
Our mission is to unite communities across Idaho while supporting programs that provide ASL education, resources, outreach, and opportunities for Deaf and Hard of Hearing individuals and their families.
Our Statewide Celebration
WALK4ASL 2026 is a statewide celebration taking place in four communities across Idaho. Each location will host its own event on different dates and times, allowing communities throughout the state to participate while sharing the same mission and vision.
